Piedmont Wind Symphony
Ready to bust out of the pandemic gates with renewed energy and a new Musical Director/Conductor, Piedmont Wind Symphony needed a brand refresh to signal that the band is back and ready to play! Betsy Simmons Fraser Creative developed a brandmark that is full of the vibrancy and excitement that this top-notch wind ensemble delivers. A jubilant kaleidoscope of bells set in neon brights that celebrate the connection of this band to the community it serves and entertains.
The color palette and arcs of the bells were implemented throughout the Piedmont Wind Symphony’s concert announcements and communications creating a distinctive and quickly recognizable brand.
Once the logo for the symphony was established, I was charged with sub-branding a free concert series provided by the band. Using the palette of flat neon colors, I created brand mark “cousins” for Piedmont Pops In The Pit followed by Piedmont Pops For The Holidays.
